Overview
6 Days Serengeti Wildebeest Migration Safari
Ndutu is a famous birthing ground of more than 2 million animals, wildebeests, Zebras, Thomson Gazelles, and Grand Gazelles of the Great Serengeti-Mara ecosystem. It lies south of the Serengeti National Park, an important site as this is where the wildebeest calves are delivered and nurtured over the nutrient-rich grass to gain the necessary energy to complete the 500 km migration circuit for the next generation. An approximated total of 400,000 thousand wildebeest calves is delivered in a short 3-week window. The newborn calves make this place a hunting ground for hunting lions, opportunistic hyenas, and the stealthy leopards looking to make a quick meal of the newborns.
Ndutu is the focus of our safari, however, your experience won’t be limited to only this place. We have planned visits to the Tarangire National Park and Ngorongoro Crater which are full of wildlife for us to observe and admire the stunning migration of various kinds of animals.

Arrive in Tanzania
Upon arrival at the airport, your driver shall pick you up and drive to your hotel in Arusha. Have a rest and prepare for your safari in the next morning.

Detailed Itenary
DAY 1: Drive to Tarangire National Park.
After breakfast drive to Tarangire National Park for game drive, enjoy the game drive through the park which covers an area 2,850km’s and famous for its large herd of elephants, some over 100 in number and large Baobab trees that dot the landscape as you drive to lodge/camp.

DAY 2: Drive to Ndutu.
After breakfast drive to the famous Ndutu, the focal point of our Safari. We shall leave drive along the Ngorongoro Crater rim as we make our way to Ndutu, along the rim, witness a large number of animals on the grass plains, depending on the timing of the travel then drive to Lodge/camp.

DAY 3 : Full Day Game Drive in Ndutu.
Today you will start very early in the morning game drive. Depart to Lake Ndutu and Lake Masek looking for Big Cat probably in hunting of prey, expect to see wildebeest, zebras, impalas, lions, cheetahs and many more wildlife in the evening drive back to the lodge/camp.

DAY 4: Ndutu to Central Serengeti.
After breakfast depart with lunch boxes game enroute to Central Serengeti, game in the evening drive to the lodge/camp for overnight.

DAY 5: Game Drive in Central Serengeti Overnight at Ngorongoro.
After breakfast proceed with our final game drive in the Serengeti National Park. Driving through the plains for more opportunities to spot the wildlife. Our game drive shall take proceed until the late afternoon when we shall have our picnic lunch afterward drive to Ngorongoro Conservation for overnight in lodge/camp.

DAY 6: Game Drive in Ngorongoro Crater and Transfer Arusha.
After breakfast depart with packed lunch into the Crater for game drive, where you will descend 610m into the Ngorongoro crater for wildlife viewing experiences. You will also enjoy searching for the wildlife species like wildebeest, zebra, hyenas, lions, buffalo, hippos, warthogs, elephants among others as you look explore the crater floor and its beautiful landscape. Afterward drive back to Arusha for overnight or transfer to the Airport
