NAPURU WATERFALLS
Overview
Napuru Waterfalls
A beautiful waterfall on the slopes of Mount Meru, a few kilometers north of the city of Arusha. It is located in the southwestern part of the Arusha National Park. The area around the falls is really quiet with the exception of some birds and monkeys. There are some nice photo spots that the guide will gladly point out to you. During the hike, you will pass through a series of small agricultural villages with lush landscapes where locals plant corn and potatoes. Along the way they sell various goods such as coffee, corn, bananas and other fruits and vegetables. At the waterfalls we have lunch and if you want, you can swim there..

This is the little waterfalls found near Kimelock village it’s about 7 kilometers from Moshi-Arusha Road. This guided hike is accessible by car or by foot to the forest area where you would need to check in with Natural resources representatives for permission to hike on the land. The hike is quite manageable for both adults and children, but involves steep paths, splashing through a slow moving stream while jumping from rock to rock and eventually climbing up a small wooden ladder that leads to a magnificent natural wonder. The roar of the waterfall will greet you long before you see it. Once you reach the waterfalls it is an enjoyable environment with water sound after heating the ground.
